Requirements

Competition is a great way to excel in dance. Competition students have the opportunity to participate in the Havertown Parade, opportunities to see professional dance shows and opportunities for dance workshops, conventions , special events and classes.

Competition dancers are selected by audition and acceptance is based on skill level, motivation and dedication. All competition dancers are required to take weekly choreography classes and weekly classes in the style of the competition. Competition dancers compete in 2 for Mini Team and 4 for Competitive Team competitions as well as Nationals in the summer.
